I don’t really know anything about digital cameras but I want to buy one. What are the cameras called, that are not digital, just normal ones? I used to like those better because the quality seemed to much more professional. The lighting seemed warmer, colors seemed brighter. On digital cameras it seems that everything looks paler, etc. Is it just me? I wanted a digital camera that had those qualities to it, with a good price, if possible. What kind of digital camera do you have?

So I accidentally knocked my digital video camera some 2 feet off a ledge and although it functions fully, my computer fails to pick it up when I connect it via USB. However, like I said, the camera fully functions in every aspect other than that. Also, drop protection software had activated. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset it so that I can use it again without deleting all the video data?

I am looking for something that has at least 2 megapixels, has a lcd viewer, and is kid-tough. Most of the kids cameras I’ve seen have very low megapixels; more like a web cam than a digital camera. Anything out there anyone has had experience with that works? Thank you.

I’m going on a study abroad trip to Australia and want to get a digital camera. I know pretty much nothing about them (I’ve never owned one) so I’m just looking for something that takes good pictures. However, I also was contemplating getting a video camera as well so I could record memories, so I want to know if there is a digital camera that is good at doing both?

I’m looking for a decent digital camera to use primarily for shooting flower arrangements against white backgrounds. Quality and focus are the major concerns here as most of the work will be closeup/macro. A good zoom lens and SLR are a plus for general purpose shooting. What camera(s) would you recommend in the under $600 price range?

I go to bars a lot where they have good bands play. I would like to buy a digital camera, not a camcorder to take video clips. What is the best camera out there? There is usually low light in bars.

I really want a digital slr camera, but I don’t want to spend a fortune, I’ve been looking at used ones, and refurbished but they’re all so expensive! I’ve been manly looking at getting a canon EOS rebel xs. Is that a decent camera? I currently have a canon regular digital camera and I love it.

My cousin and I really don’t know anything about buying a good digital camera. My cousin needs one and she said she’s willing to pay up to $300 for a camera. She wants one that has a rechargeable battery. If you have any good suggestions about what digital camera to purchase please let me know your opinion and where could we find it brand new with a good value.
Ohh i forgot to put that she needed a waterproof digital camera because we’re going to Philippines and take the camera to beaches. What’s a good waterproof camera?

I am wanting to buy a nice digital camera within the next couple of days. I dont know a lot about photography but will hopefully be learning all about it by taking a photography class or by buying a book. Any suggestions one which make and model I should look into?
